WELCOME TO ABC OF KENTUCKIANA

Associated Builders & Contractors of Kentuckiana is a full service "merit shop" construction trade association representing over 450 companies throughout the state of Kentucky and 7 counties in southern Indiana. Kentuckiana ABC has 4 regional offices (Louisville, Lexington, Bowling Green and Owensboro) with 10 full time staff members. The chapter was chartered in 1973 and is part of a federation of 79 chapters with over 20,000 member firms that comprise the national Associated Builders & Contractors.

ABC is a joint effort. Thousands of general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and associates have united under our banner of free and open competition in the construction industry. We all believe economy, efficiency and quality in construction is the only way America can continue to grow and prosper.

Seeking Director of Education and Marketing 

Associated Builders and Contractors of Kentuckiana is accepting applications for a Director of Education and Marketing.  The selected candidate will be responsible for all facets of the association’s training programs and educational offerings.  The individual will work closely with the Board of Trustees and the Education Coordinator on the Board of Directors to ensure quality continuing education, craft training and apprenticeship offerings across the state. S/he will coordinate activities of the chapter’s statewide apprenticeship programs and act as the liaison and head of business development among the relevant committees, teachers, students, employers and the federal/state apprenticeship officials. Must have demonstrated success in managing programs of similar scope and complexity, excellent presentation skills, both written and oral, and be able to thrive in a small team environment.  Send resume and salary requirements to Jnelson@kyanaabc.com.
